Does Glutkern really work fully offline?

Yes. Every feature runs without internet. Recipes, core temperatures, timers and your logbook live locally on the device. There is no forced cloud and no user account.

What does the app cost?

At launch Glutkern is completely free, with no counting limits and no subscription. Later there will be an optional one-time purchase for premium recipes and extended cooking profiles.

Which grills are supported?

Gas, charcoal, kettle, pellet, smoker, Beefer, plancha, fire pit, kamado and electric - plus custom devices. Recipes are matched via heat families.

Is my data uploaded anywhere?

No. Nothing leaves your device. Crash reports are anonymous and off by default. You create a backup yourself as a file and store it wherever you like.

Do I need a Bluetooth thermometer?

No. Glutkern works entirely without extra hardware. A later Bluetooth connection is prepared, but never required.

Is the app available for iOS and Android?

Both are planned. The app is in the works and will arrive soon on the App Store and Google Play.
